The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF)

The Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF)provides scholarships to Asian and Pacific Islander American students with financial need.
APIASF Scholarship Program Eligibility Requirements:
  • Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census
  • Be a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the U.S. Citizens of the Freely Associated Sates may also apply.
  • Be enrolling in a U.S. accredited college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking student in the upcoming academic year
  • Must apply for federal financail aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) or have earned a GED

Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF)

Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) The Hispanic Scholarship Fund awards more than 4,000 scholarships each year to students attending four-year universities, community colleges and graduate schools. College-bound students of all levels who are citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States. Must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (3.3 GPA for the Gates Millenium Scholarship Program) and plan to be enrolled full time in the fall 2012 semester. All majors are encouraged to apply. The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) offers close to 150 HSF scholarship programs, including the Gates Millennium Scholars Program. Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $15,000. The HSF General Scholarship Application closes in December 15, 2011. Selection begins in June 2012. Apply online at www.HSF.net.
